Indian residents rescued an adorable elephant calf trapped in a well in Bangurasingh village.
On Sunday, some locals saw a herd of 50 elephants in the area.
According to locals, the calf may have fallen into a hole in the ground while roaming with its family.
The video depicts the elephant’s cries of distress as it was unable to climb out of the well.
The calf attempted to climb out on its hind legs, but the hole was too large for it.
The villagers gathered near the well to figure out how to save the miserable creature.
They notified officials, who successfully rescued the elephant.
The calf took a while to regain its composure, and it limped away as it tried to find its balance with the assistance of the officials.
But the adorable little elephant was back on its feet and running after only a few moments, eager to rejoin its herd.
