Many moms struggle to keep their children under control when they’re playing in public.
So spare a thought for this female elephant struggling to keep her brood in one piece in the Kenyan wild.
As the animals walked through the camp, they were seen jumping over each other and raising their front legs. Their mother was watching on.
Eventually, they were separated from their mother by the stronger pull of her trunk.
Wildlife photographer Margot Raggatt captured their joy from a vehicle nearby, producing a stunning series of images that will be part of an anti- po.ac.hing campaign.
‘They were running around like toddlers, out of control and having a fantastic time.’ Ms.Raggett said.
While they were chasing and jumping on each other, the older elephants seemed to have been futilely trying to keep the younger ones under control. It was hilarious.
Eventually, one baby elephant came and checked out our car and even tried to charge us at one point by pretending it was bigger than it actually was.
Elephants are playful and innocent creatures who can bring hours of enjoyment and fun.
