Chris Cooper of Michigan was walking in the woods one day when he saw this shy snow-white ermine peeking from a hollow tree trunk.
The ermine, a weasel, was saying hello, and luckily, Chris had a camera to capture the cutest peek-a-boo ever.
Ermine has the ability to change the color of its coat with the seasons, so this coat is completely white as it was found in winter.
This is an evolutionary trait that helps them camouflage themselves from predators in any season.
You can often find these burrowing creatures hiding in hollow trees. They will usually stay out of your way but will attack if they feel cornered.
