What’s cuter than baby seals? Well, of course a baby seal is holding a plush toy!
One of the sweetest things we’ve ever seen, this rescued earless seal is embracing a plush version of himself.
The seal lives at the Okhotsk Tokkari Center in Japan, the country’s only conservation facility dedicated to sheltering earless seals.
Staff at the center gave the seal a stuffed toy because of its cuteness, and they were delighted when the seal gave it to his new friend.
The seal, saved from in.jur.y and is being cared for by hand at the centre, excitedly cuddled his mini-me and even gave it a ride on his back.
The center knew this scene was too cute to share, so it posted a photo on Twitter.
