Going toe-to-toe, these fighting primates could give Floyd Mayweather a run for his money.
The stunning photographs, taken by Australian tourist Julie Rathbone on the banks of the Zambezi River in Africa, show them getting into a few fights.
The Chacma baboons appeared to have settled a quarrel by fighting before a senior baboon stepped in as the referee to break it up.
Julie Rathbone, a nurse unit manager from New South Wales, was traveling down the river when she witnessed the fracas.
She whipped out her camera to capture the commotion but explained that she struggled to keep up with the fast youngsters.
“We were following the hippos along the river’s bank when I heard the sound of a monkey’s playing,” she added.
They appeared to be having fun, but one seemed to anger the others, and they all went berserk and started chasing one another.
“When the fight was over, they all went silent and sat in groups as if nothing had happened.”
“It was extremely exhilarating,” said Julie. “I feel fortunate when I captured it on camera.”
“I was really thrilled to be in the right place at the right time and able to capture a substantial number of images in focus,” she added.
“I’ve never seen monkeys interact with each other before, except in a zoo, so seeing them out in the wild, unrestrained and free from fences was an exciting experience.
