This baby elephant is definitely milking it – because the baby elephant doesn’t stop grinning after every sip of milk.
The newborn African elephant was clearly enjoying his meal as her mother looked on lovingly and calmly, sipping water from a puddle.
Apparently grateful that the baby elephant, believed to be 14 months old, also gives his mum a loving brush on her leg with his trunk.
The sweet scene was shot by wildlife cameraman Shazaad Kasmani in Tsavo East National Park, Kenya.
Shazaad, 38, said: ‘The baby elephant was suckling with its mother’s teat and it looked like smiling after every drop.
“The mother was very comfortable and also drinking water from a small puddle while the baby was nursing.
“The baby kept closing his eyes and lovingly touching his mother’s feet with his little trunk. The love for his mother is amazing.”
