Elephants are beautiful creatures that take people’s breath away with their regal, tranquil demeanor. However, their babies, though, are absolute buffoons!
These little ones enjoy putting on a show with their large ears and trunk, which they don’t yet have full control of.
And one tiny elephant is an excellent illustration of this. The YouTube video “Dancing Baby Elephant” shows one small elephant’s ability to dance, and it went viral.
This video was shot in South Africa, on the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, which adjoins the Kruger National Park.
At the beginning of the video, a baby elephant is standing in the middle of a dirt road swinging his tiny trunk around.
The curious little elephant approaches the people filming, extending his trunk to sniff the friendly visitors. Just as you thought the infant elephant was alone, a much larger one appears on the screen just before he walks up to the visitors.
That’s when you start to see his herd coming out from the bushes surrounding the dirt road.
The baby elephant suddenly starts dancing. He swings his trunk and boogies his head, kicking up his legs while he does so.
When the baby elephant appears to run out of moves, he begins hopping on one leg, and this is the most adorable thing ever.
The sheer size of the bigger elephants will astonish you. In the background, you may observe them feeding while the silly baby prances for the people on the road.
With the song “Baby Elephant Walk” playing in the background, it’s as though the song was written specifically for this little dancer.
“Baby Elephant Walk,” written by Henry Mancini in 1961 before this baby elephant was born. It was originally intended for the film Hari, but it’s just right for this baby’s dance.
At the end of the footage, the baby plays with a rock on the road, rolling it around with his feet.
The dancing baby elephant quickly attracted a large number of fans on YouTube. It quickly went viral with people flocking to watch the delightful and amusing video.
It’s no surprise that the precious little elephant went viral – how could you not want to watch the adorable creature dancing? Many doors have been opened by social media and technology, allowing us to observe parts of the wild we couldn’t before.
This little elephant is adorable to watch. It’s clear that he’s having a good time, and it’s fantastic to see elephants in their natural habitat enjoying themselves. How cute!
