Adorable images show a baby elephant throwing a tantrum like a naughty child in South Africa as its mother looks calm and continues on the road.
The troubled boy threw himself to the ground with his legs swinging in the air in hopes of getting his mother’s attention.
But after a while, the mom leaves him and continues to move.
A collection of humorous images taken by 57-year-old security officer Antonio da Cruz.
During a trip to South Africa’s Kruger Park, he encountered a herd of small elephants blocking the way.
“We waited, but after a few minutes of the roadside grazing, the female elephants and other ones moved into the bushes by the bush nearby,” he explained.
“This little guy stood in the middle of the road and was determined to stay.”
As the mother moved into the bushes, Antonio said that the needy elephant ‘toppled forward onto his head’ before rushing out into the road in a defiant show of resistance to authority.
‘After swaying his legs, head, and tail a few minutes, he looked over at his mother, and then she called his bluff by moving further away into the bush.
“He quickly got up, gave us a glare, and then chased after her!”
