This is the adorable moment a lost baby elephant roars with delight as he is reunited with his family after following a rescue team.
The calf was brought back to its family by a rescue team from the forestry department in Tamil Nadu after it got lost in Mudumalai National Park in southern India.
Footage shows four rangers walking in front of the baby elephant, believed to be just a few months old, as they guide it to safety down a green road.
The elephant can be seen closely following one of its rescuers, who is dressed in khaki camouflage, while another member of the team encourages the calf from behind.
In the second video posted online, the calf can be seen walking down a narrow trail before emerging onto an open path.
The calf stopped and looked up before letting out a joyful roar as if it was reunited with family.
The elephant then trotted towards its mother, said to be waiting behind the camera, in delight.
