This is the moment a baby elephant clumsily took a tumble as he rushed to catch up with his mother when she crosses the road.
A cute baby calf had walked with his mother in the bush at the Idube Game Reserve in South Africa.
As the couple crossed a road, the mom confidently walked forward.
But when the baby elephant rushed to catch up with her, he appeared to get his leg entangled in the grass.
The clumsy boy tripped as he walked down the street and tried to regain his balance.
He eventually tumbled and landed – trunk first – down in the mud.
Fortunately, the baby elephant was not in.jur.ed but his pride and quickly stood up again.
Noticing the calf’s clumsy fall, the mother elephant, carrying a large tree branch in her trunk, stopped her next march and turned back to check on her baby.
After giving him a once over, the pair disappeared into the bush.
The incredible moment was captured by reserve ranger and wildlife filmmaker Rob Vamplew, known as Rob the Ranger.
