No matter how much I love big wild cats, it goes without saying that they are hazardous animals, and getting close to them is not the best idea. However, after watching this friendly lion jump into a car full of tourists, I can leave all of that behind.
It happened during a safari at the Taigan Safari Park in Vilnohirsk, Crimea, where one of the lions wanted to show everyone he was nothing but a gentle giant. So when he noticed a car full of tourists, the lion named Filya climbed aboard. The huge cat showed no signs of aggression, even proving affection to surprised tourists when he began to lick many of them.
As Filya asked for some belly rubs and cuddles, everyone on board seemed incredibly comfortable around him. Some people even managed to snap a few selfies with the adorable cat. It’s a confusing sight at first, but this wildlife park is known for its wildlife species having close encounters with visitors.
Even so, you should know that lions, like all wild animals, are quite unpredictable and petting them is also dangerous, so be aware next time you get close to a wild creature.
