This stunning picture appears to capture a blue whale blowing a rainbow-colored HEART as it came up for air.
Tanakit Suwanyangyaun was fortunate enough to capture one of the magnificent animals clearing its blowhole.
The water droplets and the light, however, created the impression that the whale was blowing a rainbow-hued heart.
Tanakit had spent the day swimming with whales while on a scuba diving trip around Sri Lanka.
He was ecstatic to snap a photo of himself with the world’s largest animals underwater, and after doing so, he was overjoyed to take this even more unique shot above the water as well.
He said: “The photos are a dream come true for me.”
“I’d wanted to swim with blue whales for as long as I could remember, and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
“I was really fortunate because the whales were passing by incredibly swiftly; we only saw each individual for a few seconds before it disappeared. ”
“I’d return again and again if I had the chance.”
