This is the amazing moment when a fearless fox plays chase with two giant bison in the snow.
The little fox was spotted darting around in Yellowstone National Park with two animals thundering behind it.
The trio appeared to be playing a chasing game as they ran back and forth for ten minutes before the exhausted bison roamed to rest.
Novelist Jon Albert who lives nearby, discovered the rare interaction.
The 44-year-old said: ‘The bison was in a playful mood and when the fox appeared, he decided he was going to chase him just for fun.
“The fox knew it was some kind of game, and he never left the area.
‘The bison would meet him again and run towards him. It continued like that for a good 10 minutes.
‘The bison never really meant to hurt the fox, and the fox knew that.
‘I laughed during the chase because I knew it was mostly mischief and play.
‘It’s scarce to see interlopers playing in movies.
“These two species are not competitive and are not a threat to each other or each other’s young; I have never seen them engage in interspecies play before.”
