A herd of elephants was photographed at precisely the moment a rainbow appeared, creating a stunningly beautiful photo.
When the enormous animals were lingering in a marsh at the Amboseli National Park, a spectacular rainbow appeared after a rain.
When on holiday in Nairobi, Kenya, bank worker Kaizer Allu, 39, managed to capture the stunning photos.
Safaris have been a part of his life since he was a kid, so he’s glad to have the opportunity to share that with others.
“We went on a game drive with my family to see the scenery — it was still overcast, and we were in the rainy season.
“I’m assuming that all the water from the mountain had a role in creating this natural all-year swimming pool, which the animals seem to enjoy so much.
We encountered a huge number of elephants, probably more than 50 strong, with their moms, many calves, and some bulls.
“It began to rain a little bit, and there was a light shower. After the rain stopped, it was replaced with the most stunning of settings: a herd in all its glory with the sun peeping through and behind it, as if by magic.”
“Our mouths were wide open in astonishment at this magnificent spectacle. I have recollections of this time that no one could ever value.”
