It’s winter, and snowmen abound, but not just children are delighted to see them; some other adorable animals, such as deer and rabbits, are just as pleased.
The viewpoint is different since these furry friends don’t enjoy them for the amount of snow they have, but because of their adorable orange nose. After all, who could blame them?
So, when this family from Cambrian Heights in Calgary, Canada, created a snowman in front of their home, they thought the sun was the only danger. They were so mistaken.
A tiny sweet creature made its way to the Bryant family’s snowman and ate away at his nose. Of course, the family could do nothing but amuse and capture the adorable scene.
However, the Bryants had no idea that this short film would attract so much attention on the internet. Sheila Bryant soon after shared it, and it won people’s hearts with the fairytale-like scene. “Just giving the snowman a kiss,” says the family as they shoot the hungry bunny chewing on the snowman’s nose.
It seems that this isn’t the first time a rabbit has a.tt.acked a defenseless snowman in order to deprive it of its nose. People have even written a poem about something like this, which is occurring all too frequently.
“There was a little snowman Who had a carrot nose,” the poem reads. “Along came a rabbit, And what do you suppose? That hungry little rabbit, Looking for his lunch, Ate the little snowman’s nose ― Nibble, nibble, crunch!”
