An elephant has been caught on video attempting to grab some mangoes from a mango tree, leaving Twitter users amused.
If there’s one fruit that’s synonymous with the summer, it has to be the ‘king of fruits’ – mango. There are numerous local varietals of the delicious, flavorful fruit that may be found all across the country.
Mango can be had raw, as juice or dessert, or even with your favorite roti, puri or rice dish! We can’t decide if the best part about mango is its taste or versatility.
Mango has a distinctive allure that appeals to people of all ages, and it turns out that even animals have a soft spot for this lush fruit. An elephant has been caught on video attempting to grab some mangoes from a mango tree in Sri Lanka.
Susanta Nanda, an IFS officer, posted a cute video of the elephant trying to grab onto a low-hanging fruit on a tree. It was liked and retweeted thousands of times on Twitter. The elephant in the film attempted to grasp for the high-hanging fruit from the tree’s lowest limb.
When he couldn’t reach the fruit, he grabbed the tree with his trunk and shook it lightly, making the mangoes fall. He then proceeded to enjoy the delicious fruits of his efforts!
The video quickly went viral, with many positive reactions and comments pouring in. Some individuals praised the elephant for his quick thinking, while others labeled the film “cute.” Other Twitter users wondered if the fruit was too sour for the pachyderm’s liking.
