This is the frightening moment when a diver encounters a de.a.dly shark.
Cassie Jensen, 27, from North Carolina, USA, caught the attention of the Tiger shark, known as DJenny, three miles off the shore of Jupiter, Florida.
The predatory animal was drawn to the prospect of a quick meal, but it seemed intrigued by Cassie’s diving equipment.
The Tiger shark is frequently regarded as one of the most hazardous shark species, but thankfully this one didn’t bite.
Cassie, who called the experience life-changing, stated: “I was right on the surface and witnessed her down in the sand 70 feet below.”
“I felt an instant connection, and suddenly she turned up from the bottom and started gliding through the water towards me.
“She trusted me, and I trusted her; it was like we were one person, and we looked into each other’s eyes as she approached my camera.”
“It takes some time for the sharks to trust us, but once they do, they come really close to inspect us.
“It was breathtaking.” “I almost didn’t take the shot because I was so captivated by her; nevertheless, I’m glad I did.”
