This is a giraffe with a brass neck.
One of the famous lofty creatures has made a headline on the internet after photobombing a couple on vacation.
Gary King and his girlfriend Lisa Kennedy, from Ireland, decided to visit an amusement park and go on a safari for two days during their two-week stay in the US.
And during their days out, a smiling giraffe captured the couple as they stood next to the enclosure.
Lisa said: ‘It was pouring rain that morning so we had to wait until the afternoon to go on the safari in Busch Gardens – it was the dullest day of two weeks.
‘We took a lot of pictures that day because there were animals everywhere and giraffes around us in the safari. We didn’t look at the photo until that night we were back to our hotel room, and we couldn’t believe the giraffe’s face had pulled in the photo; he was looking directly at the camera.
‘I’m obsessed with animals so I’m happy.
‘We couldn’t believe how many likes and shares it got, and we got loads of lovely comments.
‘Our 15 minutes of fame made us smile, and now that we want to get a better photo, I want to go to Dublin Zoo for the weekend to take some elephant selfies.”
The daring shot has been a hit since it was shared online.
Michael O’Brien said: ‘Love it. Who said animals don’t have a sense of humour. He’s only having a giraffe. ‘
Siobhan Butcher added: ‘Absolutely classy, what a smile.’ Lisa Brennan said: ‘This giraffe definitely got style.’
