This is the hilarious moment a baby elephant slipped in a puddle of mud after trying to charge on a passing warthog.
The footage, shot by Ewan Wilson at Addo Elephant Park in Eastern Cape, South Africa, captures the playful calf as it splashed around in the pool with his family.
The young boy then spotted the passing warthog gliding across the edge of the pool.
In a brave move, the calf then decided to lunge at the warthog, shoving its feet into the wet mud as the creature stopped in front of it.
This tiny baby backed up behind a more giant elephant for a few seconds before darting forward – and clumsily sliding the ground beneath it.
One man said from behind the camera: ‘That’s very brave. He tried to charge and then slipped in the mud.’
The warthog ran when he saw the elephant approaching, but the calf quickly recovered from the near-fall and charged again.
After falling a second time, the baby elephant gave up his attempt instead of running back up the muddy path to return to his family.
One woman said: ‘Run back to mom, quickly!’
Then a bigger elephant stepped between the baby elephant and the space where the warthog was as the video ended.
