Daylight robbery on a highway by elephant: Calling it a ‘daylight robbery,’ IFS officer Parveen Kaswan shared the video of an elephant stealing bananas from a local truck.
Fruits are adored by both people and animals, so we frequently see videos of animals eating fruits on social media. Elephants have been observed attempting to obtain their favorite fruits, even if it involves using the wrong means.
Recently, there was a video of an elephant snatching fruit from a truck on the highway; it’s been called a “daylight robbery.” IFS officer Parveen Kaswan shared the clip on Twitter, where it quickly went viral.
The video has had more than 278,000 viewers. We could see a truck driver stopping on the highway due to an elephant crossing it in the footage.
The elephant stuck its trunk inside the vehicle and began rummaging for food. The truck driver assisted in loading a pile of bananas into the elephant’s grasp, after which the elephant retrieved his trunk and let go of the vehicle.
Several users expressed their thoughts on the video. While many people found the video hilarious, others were concerned that the truck driver might have been severely in.ju.red if he hadn’t engaged his break system in time.
In another tweet, Parveen Kaswan also warned users, “This is why you see, do not feed wild animals’ board near forest area. They become habitual of new taste. And keep coming to road & near human. This is not helpful to them in long run.”
