Elephants are one of the most intelligent animals in the world. Their brains are similar to ours.

Although they are not only intelligent animals, they are also very sociable and have the ability to communicate with each other using a range of sounds, among other things to do things like the warning of possible dangers and calling on their family.

They have been known to express emotions such as love and grievance, just like us humans.

At the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, USA, ailing and frail female elephants are provided with a safe environment to live out their final days, surrounded by professionals who can help them meet their individual needs.

Currently, the sanctuary has only 10 elephants, it does not open to the public, but they still play with each other.

However, one particular elephant has an extraordinary friendship – with a dog named Bella. The two of them do everything together.

The relationships between species are not very common, but they are still beautiful when we see them.

One day, Bella injured her back and couldn’t walk, so she was forced to rest in a special treatment center for three weeks.

Tara was overwhelmed to see Bella suffering so much, but she refused to abandon her buddy.

For three weeks, instead of roaming her 1800-acre habitat, Tara stood just outside the treatment center waiting for her best friend Bella to come out to play again.
