In an incredibly bizarre scene that – by the way – can only happen in Florida, a poor gator is being chased down the golf field by a flock of angry geese. The scene unfolded at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens with onlookers watching in disbelief. Thankfully, the hilarious moment was captured on camera!
When an alligator invaded the field of a golf course, golfers couldn’t help but observe the safety of their vehicles. However, a family of geese were quite angered by the reptile’s presence and began to chase it. One of the birds – the mother, it turned out – was brave enough to get close to the gator’s tail, while seven chicks followed closely behind.
However, this reptile doesn’t seem too bothered by the presence of wild geese. It was slowly continuing its path to the other side of the yard without turning its head around.
The chase, which seemed in slow motion, occurred during the 2nd annual Christie’s Critters Invitational tournament on The Champion Course at PGA National, which was captured on camera by one of the golfers, Ryan Witkowski. Even though it’s less than a minute long, the humorous video has racked up about half a million views on YouTube alone.
