Three ‘gentle giants’ were caught having their lunchtime near Nilgiris Biosphere Reserve in Tamil Nadu in an amazing moment.
The two adult tuskers and a newborn calf were filmed eating grass and enjoying their supper in this short video shared by IAS Officer Supriya Sahu. She added that she encountered the elephant family as she was returning home from work.
In the video, one may observe adult tuskers flapping their ears and swinging their trunk while grazing on fresh green grass.
On the other hand, the youngster elephants can be seen standing behind the two ‘giants,’ leisurely eating its food.
The video was quickly shared, and it has been seen over 31,000 times. The post even got more than 2,000 likes and many responses because of its popularity.
While one internet user wrote, “No doubt, gentle giant of wildlife,” others said, “There is a need to learn from animals in human life, no worries, no stress.” One Twitter user even joked and said, “It isn’t very funny to be chased by an adolescent male tusker.”
