Many of you may have heard of John Damian Androcles Aspinall. He is a British millionaire who loves animals, especially gorillas.

Known as the world’s most famous conservationist, Mr. Aspinall runs the Aspinall Foundation

This organization plays a big role in protecting gorillas. Their job is to help bring captive gorillas back to their natural habitat by bringing them from Howletts Wildlife Park in the UK, where they are bred, and transporting them to a giant reserve in Africa.

So Mr. Aspinall has seen hundreds of gorillas released into the wild. However, one of them will always be in his heart.

This businessman raised a lowland gorilla bred in the zoo, named Kwibi, since he was five. Then, in 2005, Kwibi was released into the forests of Gabon (West Africa), where he belongs.

Time passed, almost 5 years Kwibi and Aspinall haven’t seen each other. So the man decided to visit his old friend.

Kwibi will now be 10 years old and much stronger. Therefore, Aspinall was a bit worried about how he would react when he saw him again.

After hours of searching in the forest, they finally discovered Kwibi. And you won’t believe your eyes when you see the gorilla’s reaction.
