After breaking into a residential area, a wild elephant had strayed from the surrounding jungle and wreaked havoc. The video shows locals guiding an elephant down the road when a truck tries to overtake.
The van driver escapes unhurt after the elephant topples over his vehicle on the side of the road in Garshalboni, near Jhargram in West Bengal, India. The truck was pushed over with its trunk.
But the wild animal suddenly stands in its tracks and approaches the vehicle, effortlessly pushing it over.
As the beast walks down the street, people run over to the vehicle to check on the driver.
Locals stated that the driver was i.nj.ured after he was able to flee from the vehicle before the elephant caused mayhem.
Elephants are one of the world’s largest land animals, with huge tusks and long trunks. They live in broadleaf forests, grassland, and even tropical regions. Indian Elephants typically weigh five tons and stretch to 21 feet in length.
