During two months, photographer Sam Gaby gained the trust of a strange-looking fox in Newfoundland.
The photographer was able to capture the magnificent photographs of this wild creature in its natural habitat thanks to their collaboration.
The cross fox is a common sight in northern North America, where they are more plentiful.
The exquisite animals have an orange coat with dark stripes that descend their backs and shoulders.
They account for roughly 30% of Canada’s red fox population, and they’re still a magnificent sight to see.
“Our first encounter was planned; I was attempting to avoid disturbing this wild creature while also assuring him that I wasn’t a hazard.”
“He was apprehensive of my presence, taking cautious steps forward was followed by two steps back, and our initial encounter didn’t last long; I moved slowly, but by the time I set up my camera and locked eyes with him, he had fled.”
