Two polar bears were caught dancing across the ice, holding on to each other.
The images were taken by Eiji Itoyama from Japan, showing the gracious creatures playing fight against the backdrop of the sunset with a split-second picture showing that they are both standing uniformly upright in what looks like a ballroom position.
The married father-of-two said he got on the boat, and it took just five minutes to reach the area where bears can be seen.
“There were some bears already up there when I saw two male polar bears approach each other. They weren’t actually close, but they seemed to be in no hurry.”
“I noticed them fighting playfully and lasted about 30 minutes. I think it was a friendly fight and not a serious fight.
“It mostly looked like a greeting thing.”
Eiji, who has been a photographer for one year, began his journey in December and took the photos in October. He was lucky enough to photograph around 15 bears.
He said: “I stayed there for five days although it was cloudy most of the time.
“But there were plenty of colors throughout the sky during the morning and evening.
“Once you have the sunlight up there, the light gives gorgeous colors.
