In a stunning creepy-crawly up close, a spider appears to be wearing a flag-colored bubble for a hat.
Eko Adiyanto, 43, from Narogong, Indonesia, works as a macro photographer outside of his job at a service firm and captured the photos on his doorstep.
Eko’s home is in the Bantul district of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In his front garden, Eko captured the beautiful image of an Indonesian flag reflected in a bubble on the head of a spider.
“The photographs show the spiders with a reflection of the red and white flag, which is my nation’s flag and symbol of the eagle Pancasila, as well as my country’s symbol in the head bubble.
“I shoot them from a distance of about 8 cm to 10 cm and it takes a lot of patience to wait for the spider to pause.
“In the making of this, I was aided by my 9-year-old son and a friend who assisted with a red and white backdrop.
