Say cheese! This is the adorable moment when two tiny mice were caught snuggling before bedtime.

The grinning pals were happy to smile for the camera while clutching a dried up reed.

The Czech wildlife photographer Miroslav Hlávko, 34, called a local wildlife rescue organization to ensure that the two were properly cared for.

Miroslav snuck up on the pair in a wooded region near Trutnov, Russia, and managed to get close enough to capture the sweet moment on camera by moving slowly toward them.

“I managed to get really close to them by proceeding very cautiously through the grass, and when I looked at the photograph again, they appeared pleased to see me.

“I knew it would be popular as soon as I snapped the photo; they just seemed so at ease and pleased.”.

It was adorable to see them cuddling together at first, but soon they quieted down, and one of the mice began yawning.

“I tried to minimize the disturbance as much as possible, and I shot a few photographs before calling a local wildlife rescue expert to ensure that they would be secure.

“I don’t think it’s easy to take a photograph in the forest, but this may be one of my favorite images I’ve ever captured.”
