A heartwarming video capturing a baby elephant’s first steps has surfaced on the internet and is going viral.
In this video, shared on Twitter by an Indian Forest Service officer, it shows how the first walk of an elephant is exactly like a baby human.
In the short video, a tiny elephant is seen trying to walk on its feet. As it does, it falls on its trunk but refuses to quit. It then crawls and tries again, finally standing up straight.
Susanta Nanda shared the 25-second clip on Twitter on February 6. ‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with this small step,’ he wrote in the caption.
In the caption, IFS officers also mentioned that baby elephants typically stand up within an hour, and it can take more than 4 hours to walk.
Elephant calves are 3 feet tall at birth, and 99 percent of births occur during the night, said Dr. Emmanuel。
Netizens were amazed by the video, and they absolutely loved it. Netizens made comments on their reactions to this video.
“How joyous,” a user commented. “Wonderful,” wrote another user.
