The world is filled with creatures that are either beautiful, weird, magical, or both. What do you get when you combine these words? Something utterly unique and exceptional! If there’s a definition for uniqueness, perfection, surreal moments, or breathtaking creatures out there in the universe, it’s sure to be wildlife! Mother Nature came up with something too beautiful to be real.
Margaret Neville, from South Africa, was just going about her daily routine when she noticed something odd yet gorgeous. Margaret saw something unique, out of this world, at a closer look. It was a bug, and the woman was stunned by its beauty. “I was astounded at first sight,” she added. Who wouldn’t be… Just take a look at it!
Margaret placed the strange insect back in her lavender bush after the short tremendous encounter. She named it Miss Frilly Pants. It turned out to be a “Flower Mantis,” a subspecies of the praying mantis.”
Of course, Margaret’s friend, Martinaglia, couldn’t help but enjoy the photos and quickly published them on Facebook. And we’re ecstatic she did! Her post has attracted a lot of attention, with ten thousand comments in only a few hours.
But according to Margaret, Miss Frilly Pants is still around. “She has stayed on my lavender throughout September,” the woman said. And she may have even found some friends.
